Elettrotek is a company specializing in consulting, designing, and implementing electrical, electronic, and industrial automation systems. My role was to develop a completely new brand identity for them, moving away from their previous logo to create a more professional and competitive image that better represents their expertise.
For the new logo, I focused on elements that reflect both the company's services and their core values. The design features a leaf-shaped pictogram, symbolizing Elettrotek's commitment to sustainability and renewable energy. This same shape also cleverly forms the letter "E," connecting directly to the company's name.
The central line of the "E" is divided, evoking the power on/off symbol—a clear nod to the company's work with electricity and power systems. This dual symbolism emphasizes both their technological prowess and their dedication to environmentally friendly practices.
In terms of typography, the chosen font, Paralucent, adds a futuristic and technological touch. It alternates between smooth lines and sharp, angular corners, conveying a blend of innovation and precision. The name "Paralucent" itself is a subtle reference to light, electricity, and energy, further emphasized by the yellow used in the logo. This choice reinforces Elettrotek's connection to the world of power and energy, aligning perfectly with the brand's identity.
The pattern designed for Elettrotek is a direct extension of the brand's visual identity. It incorporates clean, repetitive elements that reflect the company’s precision and technical expertise in electrical and automation systems. Inspired by the geometric shapes found in electrical circuits and connections, the pattern evokes a sense of order and innovation. This minimalist yet powerful design serves as a cohesive visual element across different brand touchpoints, reinforcing Elettrotek's professionalism and commitment to high-quality solutions. Its simplicity ensures versatility, making it suitable for use across both print and digital platforms.
Elettrotek’s previous website lacked a strong brand identity, making it difficult for the company to stand out and be easily recognized. My goal with the redesign was to resolve these issues by creating a website that effectively translated their new brand identity into a clear and professional digital presence. The focus was on simplicity and impact—showcasing their innovation, sustainability, and expertise through a streamlined user experience. By incorporating the new logo and pattern throughout the design, the website became an extension of Elettrotek's identity, reinforcing their core values.
The website features a minimalist design that emphasizes clarity and functionality. The color palette and logo are tightly connected to the brand, ensuring consistency and recognition. Clean typography and intuitive navigation enhance the user experience, while the strategic use of the brand’s custom pattern and key visuals keep the design cohesive and professional. This approach helps the site remain visually appealing, functional, and reflective of Elettrotek’s modern, forward-thinking identity.
